How it Works
Order Fully Prepared Meals to Sustain Your Week
As a local fully-prepared meal service, we personally make once-a-week meal deliveries right to your doorstep. Simply order and pay for the week ahead, then receive your chosen meals on Monday.
While most of our customers are regulars, they appreciate the fact that we’re not a subscription service. This means that they only pay on demand (no pre-payment plans) and receive meals on the weeks that they choose to order.
- No minimum orders- order as much or as little as you want!
- No commitments, subscriptions, or automated payments- we know that each week can look different for you and your family, so you’re free to place your orders on an “as-needed” basis.
- If you’re a new customer- you’ll pay a risk-free one-time setup fee of $30. If, after your first or second order, you decide meal delivery is not right for you, you’ll get a full refund once your cooler is returned.
Decide whether to order, how much to order, and what to order each week:
- Got a busy week ahead? Place an order and stock your fridge!
- Got cooking covered the following week? Nothing to do here!
How It Works - By the Day
Friday: Browse the new weekly menu
Every Friday, we announce our new seasonal menu on our website and by email. Sign up for our newsletter here!
Friday- Wednesday: Order a la carte for the following week (Monday delivery)
Choose from among 7-8 fresh items and more. Choose your serving size (if applicable), check every single ingredient, and confirm dietary matches (most options are gluten-, soy- and dairy-free).
After placing your order, look out for your confirmation email. If you don’t receive this email, double-check to make sure that you completed your order correctly.
Sunday: Receive an email titled “Your order is on its way!”
This email includes your order’s tracking details, including an approximate delivery time for your Monday delivery.
If you have a cooler to return from a previous order, this email serves as a great reminder to leave it out for tomorrow’s exchange.
Monday: Receive or pick up your order
A cooler with ice packs and reusable containers is hand-delivered to your doorstep by a member of our team, or ready for you to pick up for free at one of two convenient locations.
While we do recommend bringing your cooler inside to refrigerate the contents as soon as possible, you do not have to be home to receive your delivery. If you won’t be home within a reasonable amount of time to unpack and refrigerate your delivery, ask a neighbor for help or make other arrangements.
On Monday morning, you will receive an email newsletter that includes notes about the week’s meals, including reheating instructions and serving suggestions.
Enjoy your meals all week!
Simply assemble your meals or heat them in a pan. Read cooking and serving suggestions from your Monday morning newsletter or make the meals your own and serve them how you prefer.
The following Monday: Return your sustainable packaging
If you’re expecting another delivery today, rinse your reusable containers, place them back in the cooler, then leave the cooler out at your doorstep.
If you’re not expecting a delivery today but plan on ordering again soon, just hang on to your cooler and reusable containers.
If you plan on taking a few weeks off or decide that our service isn’t for you, please be sure to return your cooler through one of the following options:
- Drop off at Dino Drop-In any Monday by 6 pm - Starting May 3rd, Bozeman pick-up location will be changing from Dino Drop-In to the Farmacy.
- Drop off at the LFRC pick-up bin any time
- Drop off on Heather's front steps at 810 N Rouse Ave any time
- If none of these drop-off options work, just contact us and we'll schedule a pick-up
We’re also happy to take back your compostable containers to send to our local partner YES Compost.

Frequently Asked Questions
Where do you deliver? How much does delivery cost?
We deliver to homes and businesses within 12 miles of downtown Bozeman and in downtown Livingston.
Delivery under 8 miles costs $10, and 8-12 miles costs $15.
Orders over $150 receive free delivery!
You can check your distance from downtown with Google Maps.
Free Pick-up is also available on Monday afternoon at Dino Drop-In and at the Livingston Food Resource Center. Starting May 3rd, Bozeman pick-up will be at the Farmacy - 83 Rowland Rd.
Can I choose my delivery day?
Currently, all food is made fresh over the weekend and delivered Monday afternoon.
I've never ordered meals before. Do I need to subscribe?
We're excited to cook for you!
While there is no subscription for meal delivery, there is a risk-free, one-time fee of $30 for new customers.
This fee helps cover the cost of the coolers, ice packs, jars and lids used every week.
There is a product titled "New Customer One-Time Fee". Simply add it to your cart with your first order. If, after your first or second order, you decide meal delivery is not right for you, you will be refunded your $30 fee.
Simply contact us directly and return your cooler and containers for the refund.
I received a gift card, do I need to pay the new customer fee?
No. Gift card redeemers are exempt from the fee.
If you continue to order once your gift card is spent, we'll then ask for the one-time fee.
What happens after I order?
After placing your first order, you will receive a welcome email that explains some of the details: your preferred drop-off location, how to return containers, and answers to many questions you may have.
We love connecting with others through food, and we strive to build relationships with those for who we're preparing meals.
Of course, if you have questions before placing an order, please feel free to reach out!
What does "high-quality" mean? Is everything organic and local?
We're committed to using fresh, high-quality foods, organic and local when possible.
All meat used is hormone and antibiotic free and sustainably raised in Montana.
We strive to use only organic for foods listed on the Dirty Dozen.
The weekly menu contains a list of ingredients, with organic and local ingredients specified.
Are your foods allergen-free?
While we do not use foods that contain gluten, dairy or soy, we can not guarantee meals are completely free of these substances.
They are being cooked in a facility that allows all types of food, and while we do everything we can to avoid cross-contamination, we do not recommend these meals if you have a severe allergy.
Packaged ingredients I use (curry paste, sauces, etc.) may also be made in facilities that process allergenic foods.
Ingredients are always listed on the product pages.
If you have questions about specific ingredients, their origin or brand, please contact us directly.
Is there a minimum order?
Nope, no minimum order.
How long will the food last in the cooler before it's refrigerated?
Food is cooled before packaging, and placed into a cooler with ice packs.
While they should stay cold for longer, I can not guarantee the safety of your food if it is not refrigerated within 8 hours of packaging, especially during the summer months.
If it is especially hot out and you will not be home until later in the afternoon on delivery day, we ask that you place a cooler outside your door that we can place the Whole and Nourished cooler into.
If you can not pick up your food or will not be home during delivery time, please make arrangements for someone to pick it up for you.
Can I freeze my meals?
Some of the meals, like soups, freeze very well.
Please transfer to your own containers if you would like to freeze them.
Do you take special orders?
No, not at this time.
Do you sell gift certificates?
Are containers reusable? Do I need to return them?
Most foods are packed in reusable, glass mason jars.
Yes, please return them!
We ask that you rinse the jars and lids of any visible food, but please avoid placing lids in the dishwasher. They will be rewashed and sanitized in the kitchen.
Place them back in the cooler, and we will pick them up during the next delivery day.
Alternately, you may drop them off or schedule a pick-up time if you will not be ordering the following week.
You will also occasionally receive plastic containers (frozen products) and plastic baggies.
While you do not need to return these, we do encourage you to wash and reuse them at home!
What do I do with the compostable containers?
Some meals do not fit well into mason jars. In order to offer these dishes without encouraging more waste, we use 100% compostable containers from World Centric.
These containers are oven safe to 450 degrees, so you can warm your meals without dirty dishes!
We know that not everyone opts into a composting service, so we will gladly take your compostable containers back and send to YES Compost, a local curbside compost business. While food scraps are normally encouraged for compost, I do ask that you rinse your containers out before placing back into your cooler for return.
