These chicken thighs are braised in a flavorful sauce of shallots, cloves, cinnamon and house-made harissa (a delicious paste made of dried chilies, whole herbs, lemon juice and more). Served w/steamed or roasted veggies and/or a side salad, one serving serves 1-2.

  • 1 serving includes 2 chicken bone-in, skin-on thighs with sauce, fresh herbs and lime for serving; packaged in a compostable container.

  • Ingredients: Smart Chicken thighs, shallots, garlic, harissa (chilies, cumin, coriander, caraway, garlic, smoked paprika, salt, lemon juice, white wine vinegar, tomato paste, extra virgin olive oil O), chicken stock (roasted chicken bones, onions, carrots, celery, fresh parsley stems and bay leaves), cilantro, green onion, cinnamon, s&p. 
  • To serve: Warm chicken in the oven at 350 for about 20 minutes, until heated through. Place under broiler to brown the skin. Compostable containers can be heated to 450, not safe for broiling. Top with a squeeze of lime. 
  • Enjoy within 5 days.
