We start this flavorful chili verde with homemade verde sauce:  roasted tomatillos, chilies and garlic blended with fresh-squeezed lime juice, cilantro and onion. Organic, locally raised pork shoulder is cooked for several hours in this sauce and other spices, and potatoes are added last to round out this hearty meal!
  • 1 pint or quart; 1 pint serving includes 6oz pork and a lime for garnish; packaged in glass.

  • Ingredients: Amaltheia pork shoulder OL, chicken stock (roasted chicken bones, onions, carrots, celery, fresh parsley stems and bay leaves), chilies, potatoes O, tomatillos, onion O, garlic, lime juice, olive oil, spices, s&p. 
  • To serve: Heat gently on the stove until heated through. Serve with rice, tortillas, avocado, sour cream and/or cilantro. 
  • Enjoy within 5 days.
