ORDER FULLY PREPARED MEALS TO SUSTAIN YOUR WEEK
As a local fully-prepared meal service, we personally make once-a-week meal deliveries right to your doorstep. Simply order and pay for the week ahead, then receive your chosen meals on Wednesday.
While most of our customers are regulars, they appreciate the fact that we’re not a subscription service. This means that they only pay on demand (no pre-payment plans) and receive meals on the weeks that they choose to order.
No minimum orders:
order as much or as little as you want!
No commitments, subscriptions, or automated payments:
we know that each week can look different for you and your family, so you’re free to place your orders on an “as-needed” basis.
If you’re a new customer and want to use our reusable coolers, ice packs and jars:
you’ll pay a risk-free one-time setup fee of $35. If, after your first or second order, you decide meal delivery is not right for you, you’ll get a $35 refund once your cooler is returned.
If you prefer one-time use containers:
You'll pay $7 per order to cover the cost of the box, insulated bag and ice packs used to deliver your meals. These items do not need to be returned. Fee is paid for every order.
Decide whether to order, how much to order, and what to order each week:
Got a busy week ahead? Place an order and stock your fridge!
Got cooking covered the following week? Nothing to do here!
HOW IT WORKS - BY THE DAY
-
-
Choose from among 7-8 fresh items and more. Choose your serving size (if applicable), check every single ingredient, and confirm dietary matches (most options are gluten-, soy- and dairy-free).
After placing your order, look out for your confirmation email. If you don’t receive this email, double-check to make sure that you completed your order correctly. -
This email includes your order’s tracking details, including an approximate delivery time for your Wednesday delivery.
If you have a cooler to return from a previous order, this email serves as a great reminder to leave it out for tomorrow’s exchange.
Note: Livingston and Big Sky deliveries will not receive an order tracking email, as these deliveries are fulfilled by Bridger Delivery.
-
A cooler with ice packs and reusable containers is hand-delivered to your doorstep by a member of our team, or ready for you to pick up for free at one of three convenient locations.
While we do recommend bringing your cooler inside to refrigerate the contents as soon as possible, you do not have to be home to receive your delivery. If you won’t be home within a reasonable amount of time to unpack and refrigerate your delivery, ask a neighbor for help or make other arrangements.
On Wednesday morning, you will receive an email newsletter that includes notes about the week’s meals, including reheating instructions and serving suggestions.
-
Simply assemble your meals or heat them in a pan. Read cooking and serving suggestions from your Wednesday morning newsletter or make the meals your own and serve them how you prefer.
-
If you’re expecting another delivery today, rinse your reusable containers, place them back in the cooler, then leave the cooler out at your doorstep.
If you’re not expecting a delivery today but plan on ordering again soon, just hang on to your cooler and reusable containers.
If you plan on taking a few weeks off or decide that our service isn’t for you, please be sure to return your cooler through one of the following options:
Drop off at The Farmer's Daughters Cafe - 510 N 7th Ave, any Wednesday between 3pm and 6pm. Please do not drop off a cooler outside of this day and time.
Drop off at the LFRC - on the labeled cart inside the outdoor walk-in fridge
Drop off on Heather's front steps at 810 N Rouse Ave any time
If none of these drop-off options work, just contact us and we'll schedule a pick-up
We’re also happy to take back your compostable containers to send to our local partner YES Compost. -
No. We know your schedule is constantly changing, and want to make sure you only pay for meals on the weeks that you need them.
-
If you'd like reusable packaging, just a $35 new customer one time fee. This fee helps cover the cost of the coolers, ice packs, jars and lids used every week.
If you prefer one-time use packaging, you will pay $7 to cover the cost of the box, insulated bag and ice packs that your meals are delivered in. This gets paid every order.
-
If, after your first or second order, you decide meal delivery is not right for you, you will be refunded your $35 fee. Simply contact us directly and return your cooler and containers for the refund.
-
No, just order what you'd like every week.
-
No, but we try to keep our meals flexible for everyone. Many of our meals are considered paleo-friendly. Everything we make is gluten free and soy free, and most is dairy free as well. We often use honey or maple syrup instead of sugar.
-
An ordering period runs Monday through Sunday, for the following Wednesday's delivery.
-
Yes, while the specific meals change, you’ll notice the same meal ‘categories’ every week. We strive to offer the following categories every week: 1 of each: beef entree, pork entree, chicken entree, soup entree, protein salad, greens salad, as well as another side or something sweet. Some items, like granola and cookie dough are offered on a weekly basis.
-
It depends. Since we cook seasonally, some meals make an appearance just once or twice year, while others might be repeated 4-5 times per year.
-
We're committed to using fresh, high-quality foods, organic and local when possible. All meat used is hormone and antibiotic free and sustainably raised in Montana.
We strive to use only organic for foods listed on the Dirty Dozen. The weekly menu contains a list of ingredients, with organic and local ingredients specified. -
Due to the vast number of recipes in our library, we are unable to provide specific nutritional information for our dishes.
-
Not necessarily. We list all of the ingredients we use on each product page. Our meals are cooked in a facility that does process ingredients like gluten, dairy and soy, so cross-contamination, though rare, is a possibility.
-
A la carte is a flexible style of ordering one individual dish, rather than a full meal (meat, side, salad, etc).
-
While some of our dishes come with sides, most are individual. They’re all great on their own, but we often make recommendations for how to pair it for a full meal. For example, we serve Beef Bolognese without pasta, our chicken salad without bread, and Curry without rice. We know our customers have varying tastes and dietary preferences, and while one person wants to serve bolognese with angel hair, another can use GF penne and yet another spaghetti squash!
We generally do not include veggies as a side dish, as we want you to have the highest quality meal possible, and veggies lose their quality and taste when cooked more than once. Instead, we offer pre-cut vegetables from Root Cellar Foods, so you can steam, roast or saute them yourself. Many customers enjoy this way of eating, as it allows them to “make the meals their own.” -
Yes, many of the meals, like soups and stews, freeze quite well. We just ask you to transfer them to your own containers before freezing.
-
We provide reheat instructions on a label on all of our meals. If you have any questions about reheating a specific dish, please don't hesitate to reach out.
-
Glass mason jars can be microwaved, and compostable containers (without the lid) can be heated in the oven up to 450F. Otherwise, you’ll want to transfer to stove-safe or oven-safe dishes to re-heat.
-
Immediately after placing your first order, you will receive a confirmation email. If you do not, log back into your account to confirm that your order went through. On the Saturday following your first order, you'll receive a welcome email that explains some of the details: your preferred drop-off location, how to return containers, and answers to many questions you may have. We love connecting with others through food, and we strive to build relationships with those for who we're preparing meals. if you have questions, please feel free to reach out!
-
Yes, if it is before Saturday's ordering deadline, simply email heather@wholeandnourished.com, and we can manually change your order and send you an invoice to be paid online.
-
Email heather@wholeandnourished.com, and let us know if you’d prefer the order to be cancelled so that you can start over, or we can make the change on our end. If you made a mistake with delivery/pick-up option, please let us know ASAP.
-
Changes to your order can be made through Friday. Just email heather@wholeandnourished.com and explain the changes you’d like made. Because we place orders through our vendors by Saturday morning, we discourage changes after Friday. If an emergency comes up, and you no longer wish to receive your meals Wednesday, please just contact us and we’ll make arrangements.
-
Due to the logistics of cooking and packaging at a large scale, we’re unable to customize individual dishes. Product pages list all ingredients used in a dish, so be sure to read carefully. If you have any specific questions about a menu item or specific ingredients, please contact us.

Before returning your cooler, we ask that you remove the meal label from jars, then thoroughly wash glass jars and lids. Please avoid washing plastic lids in the dishwasher as this ruins the label.

Some meals do not fit well into mason jars. In order to offer these dishes without encouraging more waste, we use 100% compostable containers from World Centric.
These containers are oven safe to 450 degrees, so you can warm your meals without dirty dishes! Just be sure to remove the lid, first!
We know that not everyone opts into a composting service, so we will gladly take your compostable containers back and send to YES Compost, a local curbside compost business. While food scraps are normally encouraged for compost, I do ask that you rinse your containers out before placing back into your cooler for return.

Once on the gift card product page, you can choose your denomination, customize and preview your card then add it to your cart. The gift card will be emailed directly to you, the purchaser. You then can email it directly to the recipient, or print out a wallet-sized gift card. If you would like to purchase a denomination not listed, contact us as we’ll add it to the page.
-
Gift card recipients are required to pay the $35 fee if they would like to utilize our reusable coolers and jars. Once their gift card is spent and they are no longer ordering from us, we will happily return the $35 once our supplies are returned.
