    Fig and Cherry Braised Chicken Thighs with Spiced Roasted Walnuts


    These chicken thighs are marinated in a sauce of pureed figs and sweet dried cherries. They are then braised and served alongside spiced and roasted walnuts. 1 serving serves 1-2.

    • 1 serving includes 2 chicken bone-in, skin-on thighs; side of walnuts; packaged in an oven-safe compostable container.

    • Ingredients:  Smart chicken thighs, figs, dried cherries (cherries, sugar, sunflower oil), balsamic vinegar, worcestershire (distilled white vinegar, anchovies, garlic, molasses, onions O, salt, sugar, water, chili pepper extract, cloves, natural flavorings, tamarind extract), olive oil, chicken stock (roasted chicken bones, onions, carrots, celery, fresh parsley stems and bay leaves), walnuts, paprika, s&p. 
    • To serve: Preheat oven to 350. Place chicken on a pan lined with tinfoil, or warm directly in compostable container for about 20 minutes, until heated through. If you'd like, turn oven to broil, move chicken to the top rack and broil for the last couple minutes for crispy skin. Compostable container oven safe to 450, not for broiling.
    • Enjoy within 5 days.
