This classic chicken dish is hearty, flavorful, and sure to please the whole family. Chicken pieces are marinated in Pernod and saffron overnight, then cooked with a mix of veggies, herbs and spices.

To serve: Thaw in fridge. Warm gently on the stove until heated through.

Serve with warm, crusty bread or baguette.
Prepare a classic rouille sauce, a garlicky mayonnaise-like sauce, to serve alongside the bouillabaisse. Spread it on the bread or stir it into the stew to enhance the flavors.
Make a delicious cheese-topped version by melting Gruyère cheese over slices of baguette and floating them on top of the bouillabaisse. Place the whole dish under the broiler for a minute or two until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
